Hi, I´m David and I work as an Alexander Technique Teacher in Kilkenny. I also run Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes in both Kilkenny and Carlow. I have been working for many years both in the UK and Spain as a teacher of the Alexander Technique which is my passion. My original training was in Theatre and Performing Arts and I worked for many years in Spain as an actor. Problems I experienced with over tightening and using excess force during that time led me to my interest in the Alexander Technique. I am a member of ISATT (Irish Society of Alexander Technique Teachers)
Yvonne Craddock
Hi, I’m Yvonne and I work as Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner in Kikenny . I also teach Tai Chi and Qi Gong in Carllow and Kilkenny . David and I met in London some years ago while training as Alexander Technique Teachers and have worked alongside each other since that time. My initial interest in the Alexander Technique and the ways of the human body stemmed from physical pain and stress that I experienced working as a consultant in a busy London office. That journey of exploration is ongoing…
During my time spent in Spain I studied and qualified as an Acupuncturist and TCM practitioner and I am a member of AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association) Ireland. I completed my practical training at the national Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Our interest in the workings of the human body and psycho physical harmony led us to train as Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructors with a focus on the healing aspects of both. We enjoyed our training immensely and can now share our knowledge with others through our teaching. We currently run Tai Chi Classes and Qi Gong classes in Kilkenny and Carlow (click here for course and venue details ) .
